So people think that humidifiers and vaporizers are one and the same things. But they are wrong; they are completely different from each other. Vaporizers are totally different from the humidifiers – basically a vaporizer and humidifier add up some amount of humidity to the room in order to make room’s environment ideal.

The major difference between the two is that the vaporizer boils the water before it sprays the water vapors into the atmosphere of the room. Thus the water vapors which are sprayed in room often resemble the steam. The reason why anyone chooses vaporizer over humidifier is that it checks the spreading of bacteria in your room or house. Basically this boiling action of the vaporizer kills all the bacteria and molds which accumulate in its sink or water tank where water boils.

There are number of experts who say that there is no benefit of choosing vaporizers over humidifiers. Because of the fact both the machines uses water which sits in their tank so there is risk of spreading undue mildew, bacteria, or mold growth. In order to check the harmful growth of the bacteria and other ill health causing organisms one should clean humidifier and vaporizer on regular basis.
